Kent Knights

This registration session will allow you to sign your child up for the Kent Knights and submit payment.

Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information provided is accurate.    

To complete registration through our secure site, please have your debit or credit card account information available. 

The Kent Knights are in the Nisqually Jr. Football & Cheer league. The football team structures are based on grades:

Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Grade

3rd-4th Grade

5th-6th Grade

7th-8th Grade

 Age cutoff date is July 31st.  No 15-year-olds or 9th graders.

• Receive the early registration discount of $50 if signed up by June 30. Discount automatically given at checkout.  
• A sibling discount of $25 is available for siblings living in same household. A credit of $25 issued after payment processed. Email Kentknights79@gmail.com to receive credit. 
• We realize times can be difficult financially, so if you are in need of a scholarship, we recommend clicking here for possible resources available in King County. With rising costs, unfortunately we do not offer a scholarship program however we can help by providing payment plan options. 
• No refunds are given after August 1, 2023 unless there is an injury that a doctor has stated participant cannot continue play. 
• Refer a player or cheerleader to the Kent Knights and receive $25 per referral. Referred player or cheerleader must be certified on the league roster (Saturday, August 19) and paid in full by August 15. Referral credits will be issued in September. 
• The season will begin Tuesday, August 1, 6pm-8pm. Football practices will be held Monday through Friday for the month of August. Once school begins, practices will be Tuesday through Thursday. The cheer practice schedule will be determined.
• Practices for football and cheer will be held at Kent Meridian High School on the practice fields behind the tennis courts and French Field. The practice schedules will be sent via email once the season starts.  
• Games will mostly be on Saturdays but be prepared for possible Sunday games, based on field availability throughout the league.
• To hold a spot on a football or cheer roster, you must pay the registration fees in full or be up to date with the payment plan.
• We have committed to play in the Nisqually Junior Football League (NJFL). It is a league that we participated in last year. This league better aligns us with our common core values and addresses the concerns voiced by parents the last couple years. The major change you will notice is it is a grade-based league fielding teams of K,1st–2nd grade, 3rd-4th grade, 5th-6th grade and 7th-8th grade. 
• Registration must be paid in full, or payment plans up to date for football players to receive football gear.
• With all the uncertainty surrounding COVID19 if for any reason the season is shorten, money will not be refunded. If the season is cancelled due to COVID19, the board will make a decision about rolling registration funds over to the next season or refund partial registration.          

Football Registration cost: $250 prior to June 30 and is $300 after June 30

• Pay in full at time of registration or take advantage of the payment plan option by making the first payment of $75.
• The payment plan dates cannot be altered so if you sign up late, you will own the total due at the time you register. 
• Online processing fee applies.
• The registration fee includes: the use of Kent Knight gear (game jersey, helmet, shoulder pads, and pants).
• Each player gets a practice jersey, a pair of game socks and a mouth guard to keep.  
• Game jerseys will be issued on game day and collected following each weekly game.

Cheer Registration cost: $100 prior to June 30 and $150 after June 30

• Pay in full at time of registration or take advantage of the payment plan option by making a down payment of $50. 
• The payment plan dates cannot be altered so if you sign up late, you will own the total due at the time you register. 
• Online processing fees applies.
• In addition to the registration fee, each cheerleader will be given a link to purchase a required “Spirit Pack” which includes uniform, shoes, bow and pom poms. Spirit pack cost will not exceed $200.
